WHAT HAPPENED?
Per , Laporta is being investigated for alleged fraud for the second time in a month. He and his former partner, Joan Olive, are accused of failing to return €50,000 to a private investor.

Between 2016 and 2018, Laporta and Olive are alleged to have raised money from several investors into a company they run. Now, they are being accused of failing to return the money that has been invested. They are already under investigation for failing to return €4.7m (£4m/$5m) to another complainant.

Laporta is alleged to have invested the money in a company called Reus, which ended up insolvent, and into a Hong Kong company with the intention of constructing a house in Asia. Now, the lawyer fronting the suit claims that he has never been told what happened to the money.
