Bernardo Silva to Saudi Arabia? Man City star responds to transfer links ahead of Club World Cup
Bernardo Silva played down the possibility of joining a Saudi Arabian club anytime soon as he remains focused on Manchester City.

The Portuguese international is currently in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia with the Sky Blues who are set to take part in the Club World Cup.
Ahead of their semi-final clash against Urawa Reds on Tuesday, Silva played down the possibility of joining a Saudi Pro League club in the near future as he claimed he is happy to continue in Europe, which according to him is still the highest level of football.

Speaking to reporters, Silva said: "The Saudi League improvement has been massive, it’s because of the investment and from what we hear it’s not going to stop.
"Future in Saudi? For now, I’m focused on City, very happy playing European football, which in my opinion is the highest level."

The attacking midfielder was linked with a move to Saudi Arabia in the summer along with Paris Saint-Germain and Barcelona but he decided to stay in Manchester and later signed a new contract with the European champions that will keep him at the club until 2026.

WHAT NEXT FOR BERNARDO SILVA?
The attacking midfielder has appeared in 20 matches across all competitions for the Sky Blues, scoring four goals and providing three assists. He is expected to start against the Asian champions on Tuesday.
