  • THE BIGGER PICTURE

Aaronson completed 32 of 35 attempted passes while creating two big chances and generating one shot on target. He had 57 total touches of the ball, and was tasked with taking three corner kicks during the contest as well.

His fourth Championship appearance of the season, the 23-year-old American already has two goals this season. With another solid performance under his belt, he was applauded by supporters post-match, and even gave his kit to a young fan in the stands after the final whistle. That is a stark contrast to earlier in his time at Leeds, where he was sometimes the subject of the fans' ire.

Following Leeds' relegation to the Championship, he was loaned to Bundesliga side Union Berlin for the 2023-24 campaign.
